The question of whether you should renew a listing for no reason or not comes up al the time in Etsy groups. The Etsy SEO guide says that although renewing gives you a slight boost in search, you shouldn’t use renewing as a strategy on an ongoing basis. I’ve been watching a bunch of listings from a variety of shops to see where they end up in search results after being renewed, and the results might surprise you.
