Jordan we’d like to invite you on to our SEO podcast at
    firstclick.podbean.com would you be interested?

  2. Ibiza Luxury Villas says:

But this is only for wordpress sites right ?

    • Jordan Alexo (Pro Site Tutorials) says:

+Ibiza Luxury Villas You can also use Yoast for Drupal. I can only think
about software outside of your website for what you want. You have plenty
of great tools for different purposes, such as:

      – Google Webmaster – One freely available by Google. You get a lot of
      useful information
      – Check My Links – let’s you see if your links are working properly
      – Moz tools – gives you a lot of information about several aspects related
to your website but also others
      – HubSpot’s Website Grader – you can check the performance, SEO, and other
      attributes of your website
      – Woorank – Reveals optimization opportunities in your site

    • Ibiza Luxury Villas says:

+Jordan Alexo (Pro Site Tutorials) Thanks but I was not clear, I was
referring to Yoast – only for wordpress sites right ? Is there another cool
      program for general sites ?

    • Jordan Alexo (Pro Site Tutorials) says:

+Ibiza Luxury Villas Well, if you aren’t using WordPress then you need to
integrate them some other way. Either using HTML or another platform. But
the optimization process is the same one.

Hi Jordan, I’ve just subscribed to your channel. I have a question about
external links in my post (42:00). The external link to quality and related
sistes, must to be dofollow or nofollow? Can I get some penalization if my
external links are often dofollow? thanks

    • Jordan Alexo (Pro Site Tutorials) says:

+Dario Bongio Yes, you may get penalized by Google if your website link
profile seems manipulated. For instance, if you had about 80% dofollow
links with the same anchor text, or something similar.

You have to think about how it would look like if your website was new and
was gaining some natural links. You certainly would have a higher
percentage of nofollow links than dofollow. Actually, I would even say 90%
would be nofollow links, since nowadays dofollow links are rarer. Also most
of them would not have the exact anchor text you wanted. Instead something
like, read more, click here, check this, etc.

A way to get a couple of good dofollow links is by doing guest blogging.
Basically, writing for someone else’s website. But before you get to that
point, I would start by commenting on that person’s website. This way you
can build trust and possibly even a relationship with the owner of that
website. And later, it’s easier to ask that person to post something on
      their site.

      Thanks for the sub 🙂

    Hi Jordan,

Googleplus posts used to cause my link to fly in google. Now they drop so
have your tried this recently? Not much improvment its twitter maybe zero
and facebook not much may drop as well.

First time I added my link on googleplus with 100 word post or so dropped
instantly keep trying same result. I then noticed the anchor text of my
post link was my keywords which stupid google hates now while just last
summer and spring I had at least 50-60 low pr rank posts with keyword in
anchor texts and it did not drop me the damn google drops it after one
post. Then I posted 20 words or so to be like a normal poster without
    anchor text and still dropped.

Are you sure google plus posts help this week? Things are changing by the
months not years. I am going to write 1,000 word article on googleplus and
add my link without anchor texts and see what happens what so you think of
this? I doubt it will help based on my past experiences.

    • Arabic Alphabet says:

I know seo I am starting to rank for keyword that get 74,000 monthly
searches but I am nearly going to conclude that nofollow links on
googleplus hurt rank and may soon conclude same thing about youtube, I made
dofollow link on google plus lets see what happens

    • Jordan Alexo (Pro Site Tutorials) says:

+Qadada Kadadah There are so many reasons why that may be happening.

1 st – If your website is new or post then it will be dancing on the SERP.
Going up and down on its position until it becomes more stable.
2nd- If you’re posting in G+ and liking it then your content will have more
priority in the SERP, appearing in a more visible position for you. But
only during a short period of time then it goes back to its original
      position.

Honestly, I wouldn’t worry much about your web page positions in the SERP.
You should focus on constantly building content, and marketing it. It’s
rather more important to see the traffic you start getting from the search
engine. If you see more and more people coming from the search engine then
you’re certainly going in the right direction, and ranking well for several
      keywords.

I also recommend for you to use a tool to check your web-pages ranking more
precisely, such as: SEO rank Tracker (app for Google chrome), Traffic
Travis (downloadable software) and other similar ones.

    • Arabic Alphabet says:

+Qadada Kadadah Also there is a way to get dofollow links on youtube and
google plus I just found how but that’s not the point why does my link drop
when i post nofollow posts on googleplus even with youtube it happened.

    • Arabic Alphabet says:

And again dropped 1 page after hour or 2. Will wait till tomorrow and see
but I don’t expect it will move or return to where is was.

Did you try posting recently? Please try today. Things change fast with
      stupid google.

    • Arabic Alphabet says:

no sir I am logged out now I tried again I posted post short post less then
100 words to link to one of my backlinks and yes I am logged out and clear
      cookies and browser.
