For example, If the word keyword appears 1 time out of 100 words in this course page then the keyword density is 1%. Search engine tend to pick up web pages with density between 1 to 2 percent.

The recommended keyword density for Google search engine is between 1 to 2 %
The recommended Keyword density for Yahoo is 3%
The keyword insertion should not be overdone unnecessarily because providing meaningful content is important to readers.
