Best SEO plugin for WordPress and Woocommerce Archives

WordPress is a great content management system for bloggers and e-commerce. Woocommerce is ideal for selling and affiliate marketing. The downside is that archive pages such as categories and tags are not ideal for customers or search engine optimization.

One of the easiest ways to boost customer experience and search engine optimation is with my CategoryTinymce plugin. THere are 2 options available.

The first is free and you can download it through your WordPress website in the add new plugin area. Search for CategoryTinymce. This free version adds an editor to the top description area of archive pages. Provided your WordPress theme calls the description function then you can add an introduction to your listings and style it up as you like.

The second option is the pro version from this gives you an editable region at both the top and bottom of the listings.

The plugin also offers a way to add meta keywords and meta description to the archive page.

This can also work with custom archive pages proved the custom archives are coded to WordPress standards and include all the relevant hooks in the correct place.

If your WordPress theme is not coded to WordPress recommended standards you may need to add some extra code to your theme to make the plugin work.

First test using the free version to make sure your theme makes the correct call to the description hook.

If you need help installing then let me know and I may be able to help you but I will need access to your core WordPress files and preferably ftp access.
